Island Photographer Releases ‘Calling All Skeletons’
Though we blather on about music to anyone who’ll listen, probably to an unhealthy degree that should warrant psychiatric attention, we here at Headfunk Towers also love the arts generally. We’re always keen to shine a light on local creatives you might not have come across.
Bethany Jennings is an acclaimed young photojournalist originally from the Island, and her latest work, documenting the DIY punk scene launched this week.
‘Calling All Skeletons’ is a bold collection of raw, abrahisive work, often dropping you right in the middle of moshpits and volatile crowds. The whole project is shot in monochromatic black and white tones, with an immense eye for detail.
Put the kettle on. Sit down, and savor it.
