Sepia to drop album tomorrow. Proceeds to ActBlue
Well. Chalk this one up as a surprise.
Longtime followers of Headfunk will know of our collective love of Theo Bennet, AKA Sepia. A don of deep, Sepia used to smash it on the regular in our basement parties, bringing heavy bass, and vibes by the bucket load. In addition to being an A-Grade selector, he’s also a top-shelf human being, and nowhere is this more evident in tonight’s announcement.
As of tomorrow morning, Sepia’s album ‘Towards The Sky’ drops on Bandcamp, and proceeds will be going to ActBlue.ActBlue is currently doing Stirling work in co-ordinating community efforts surrounding the ongoing protests, by helping to bail out protestors, funding community clear-ups and more.
We’ll be sure to grab it first thing in the morning. You should too. For two reasons. Firstly, it’s a Sepia production, so it’s going to sound like a celestial work utter bass-heavy brilliance (…Not that we’re biased about our man’s oeuvre or anything). Secondly, because you’ll be able to vibe to all of that bass knowing your money is helping some vital causes right now.
